We are sorry to announce that our highway cleanup, originally scheduled for this coming Saturday morning, May 16, must be postponed, in order to follow recently announced Colorado Department of Transportation guidelines. CDOT has suspended all Adopt-a-Highway activities (our cleanup falls under this program) until June 1 at the earliest, in order to slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health and safety of volunteers and employees. We hope to be able to conduct our cleanup of 3 miles of CO 149 sometime later this summer, but cannot provide a specific date at this time. Please watch your email inbox for further information. We will do our best to give sufficient notice for all those who wish to be able to participate.

In the meantime, don’t forget that fly fishing is a great socially distant recreation. And while you’re out on the stream or at a lake, take a bag with you and pick up any trash you may find by or in the water. Thanks
